I tried to give you some hot, angsty Jesse/Fiona lovin', but it just wouldn't work. Thus, this happened. It really was all because of this short conversation we had in passing a few weeks ago when you mentioned how you always thought Michael wouldn't make it out of this mess alive. For some reason it just stuck with me because my crazy, idealistic fandom heart had never wanted to accept that as fact. Though, the more I think about it, the more I tend to agree with you. Thus, this fic was born.
