Critique? I honestly can't think the writers who created her know her as well or could do better.

I'm dying to know more about little Leela, and any life before Kalinda. You have such a great Leela scene that was very detailed and yet so much left unsaid and missing in an intriguing, almost ominous way. The whole "child of summer" vs. "reborn in winter" was marvelous.

All the parenthetical asides were gold.

Of all the insights here, the one that suggests Kalinda would be hurt that Alicia didn't understand her after all (and didn't really accept her for who she is - who she has chosen to be) tops the list of all painful little twinges this fic gave me.

Marvelous from beginning to end.
