I will admit that a large part of me wanted them to kiss in this, maybe not even make out, but just, like, a kiss to the cheek, but then I took a step back and realized this is almost better and honest? Like, they're still restraining themselves, still toeing that line even if they both know it really means nothing now, it's just habit.
