Oh, how I would love that fic if you should ever feel comfortable writing it! I do agree so much though. Jessica definitely takes on a mentor role with Harvey, and would have absolutely wanted to spare him. I love that she points out in 2.06 that Harvey's reckless behavior stems from losing Donna. I've seen a few people wondering why she just let Harvey dictate to her that "[he's] getting Donna, back," but it's like Harvey says, she knows he needs Donna. She would not be dictated to; she just understands what he's been going through, and knows he needs her back, and tbh, values Donna very much herself, I think. She is a super interesting character.
