I have been a fan of these two for so long (since the first time I saw Burton's version over a decade ago and it spurred me into reading the comics) and I am so, so impressed with how they were handled here. I wanted to pay homage to that, and the fact that characterization works so well for you is the biggest compliment. Trying to be respectful of how hardened Selina is by her past and circumstance, and how vulnerable Bruce has the ability to make her feel was very hard, so I am so glad this worked for you.
