So basically I feel about your H/D feelings/fic like this: You just have the voice of both of them SO well that I want to cry. Ugh. They are so perfect that I want to cry some more. If there's one thing I love it is the slow burn, and to me they embody the slow burn. You've got it right on the money here. I LOVE how gradual Harvey's realization is, and I LOVE how Donna slowly meets him at the point of a relationship (and how he has to work for it along the way), and how that grows and thrives from little touches and reminders of their history up to the point where they're ready to be together. I just LOVE how them they are. The entire fic screams Harvey and Donna from start to finish. If there's one thing I feel it's that of the small amount of women we've seen Harvey attempt some sort of relationship with, it's that none of them really get him, and most only really seem to know Harvey the big shot lawyer. They don't know the Harvey who is still mourning his father on that one day, every year, five years later. They don't seem to know the Harvey that smiles at that little boy with the baseball mitt on the train, but Donna does; and the wonderful thing is that he knows her right back. As long as they are them I almost feel as if there's no surpassing that connection for either him or her. They're just so right for each other it hurts. I'm really looking forward to seeing that gradual realization in the show, to see Harvey's face the moment he realizes something has changed, that it's always been there deep down waiting to hit him head on, and I really hope it happens something like this because IT'S SO PERFECT. Please keep writing all the things. Your talent makes the hiatus easier!
