I love the idea that it's such a subtle yet significant shift for them. More a matter of "when" it happens not whether or not it's going to happen -- you convey it beautifully and warmly as always.
"Donna is busying herself with the files on his desk, straightening and arranging them just so, in the exact order he will need them later…" I adore the the intimacy and understanding latent in her knowing the order.
“Harvey Specter asking for my help? Christmas isn’t for another two weeks,” she teases, already heading in the direction of Jessica. He falls into step beside her, his palm flatting against the slight dip near the small of her back. Ok, two things--- First, I can so easily see her taking joy from him needing her help *and* admitting it. Perfect. Secondly, that image of his hand on her back is subtle but so completely hot at the same time.
There is a tension inside his chest – a tight constriction he’s had for years, something he regards as familiar, but only now welcomes and is able recognize for what it is. ♥ ♥ ♥ The play of him knowing before but just now being able to embrace it? Perfect.
