Can somebody please come talk to me about Homeland because it's been abotu 12 hours since I watched the finale and I still feel like I was completely mind-fucked (I don't really like that term, but it is totally appropriate here). I am having some very serious issues digesting what just happened and had no idea that it was going to happen, and seriously, this show just needs to win ALL THE AWARDS.

Also: The Mindy Project is easily my favorite new show. Well, it is tied with Elementary.

Oh, and I started Lie to Me!

Title: Equivocation
Summary: They do this sometimes. Harvey and Donna work out some of their issues after the trial-run. All it proves is they are more screwed up than most people think.
Rating: hard r
Author's Notes: 2,090 words. Set during 2x09, Asterisk. Some liberties are taken. All mistakes are mine. These characters are not. I feel like it's been FOREVER since I've written these two, so go easy on me? Con-crit is, as always, welcome and appreciated.

For [livejournal.com profile] magisterequitum because she is awesome and the best and I know I owe you some D/E, but maybe you'll take this as an IOU?

Title It Takes Something More
Summary It has always been easy for her to design the simplest solutions to the most complex problems, but she cannot, for the life of her, figure out Ryder Montgomery.
Rating pg
Author's Notes: 1,712 words. I couldn't sleep last night, so this happened. There will be probably, like, two people who read this. This is for them. They know who they are. Takes place between th The Last Boyfrien an The Perfect Hope All mistakes are mine. These characters definitely aren't.

CAN YOU TELL I AM SUPER EXCITED FOR THIS BOOK?????

SummaryFive times Harvey and Donna touch.
Rating: pg
Author's Notes: 5,036 words. General series spoilers. Written in part for [livejournal.com profile] phrenitis because she indulges me, and this whole thing stemmed from a long conversation about why it is these two actively do not touch each other. That's just how we roll. All mistakes are mine. These characters, however, are not. Con-crit is, as always, welcome and appreciated.

Title: Equilibrium
Summary: Early morning breathes familiarity. Or, the one with sexy shenanigans. Whichever you would prefer. There is a smidge of plot, but blink and you may miss it.
Rating: hard r
Author's Notes: 1,878 words. General series spoilers. Set in the same universe as take your cues but you don't necessarily need to have read that for this to make sense. Future fic. Con-crit is, as always, welcome and appreciated.

It's been a day. Which culiminated in missing my football team's first home game of the season for the first time since I've moved back to Baltimore. While my husband still attends. So here, have fic I wrote to make myself feel better:

Title: The Battle's Almost Won
SummaryAfter Seattle, the next time Lexie Grey sees Mark Sloan is when she is just two weeks shy of her thirtieth birthday. In the immediate aftermath of George's death, Lexie recieves an offer she can't refuse from Mass Gen and leaves Seattle and Mark behind. This story takes place five years later, when a chance meeting reignites feelings both parties thought had long since been laid to rest.
Rating: pg-13
Author's Notes: 16,408 words. Written for [livejournal.com profile] het_bigbang. General series spoilers, but veers off into AU territory after 5x24. No further plot points are taken into account here. SOOOOO. The season finale happened this spring. And even though I haven't watched this show in years it still managed to rip my heart out and shred it to pieces. This is the ending I wish so very much these two characters could have recieved. In fact, this is my offical head!canon because Mark and Lexie of season five deserved so, so much more than the cards they were dealt. Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] leobrat for that early look and [livejournal.com profile] justforyoudear for the beta.
